What readers had to say

We asked readers whether they've witnessed or been the victim of hijacking in South Africa and our poll garnered 15 472 votes.

While the majority of the respondents said they've never experienced a hijacking, 18% (2750) of respondents said they had been victims of hijackers.

Incredibly, more than 1000 said that they managed to fend off criminals attempting to hijack their vehicle.
